About entry qualifications and acceptance period

・Graduation certificate (original) or diploma (copy)
High school or university documents (written in native language or English) (Proof of completion of 12 years or more of school education abroad, or equivalent to Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Notification No. 153)

*For graduation certificates written in languages ​​other than English, please attach a Japanese translation.

・Documents that prove your Japanese language proficiency (any one of the following is acceptable)

  1. Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Japanese language proficiency certificate (N1 or N2 (formerly Level 1 and Level 2)) or pass/fail result notification. Published by the Japan Foundation or Japan International Educational Support Society (JEES).
  2. A score report for the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (a total of 200 points or more in reading comprehension, listening comprehension, and listening-reading comprehension in Japanese subjects) issued by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO).
  3. BJT business Japanese proficiency test transcript (400 points or more) issued by the Japan Kanji Proficiency Test Association.
  4. Japanese language school graduation certificate (or certificate of expected graduation) and academic transcript (with the number of days attended)

    *If you are currently attending a Japanese language school or have attended a school, please be sure to submit this form.

    *Limited to accredited courses of 6 months or longer at Japanese language institutions.

  5. Proof that you have been educated at a Japanese school for at least one year (excluding kindergartens) as stipulated in Article 1 of the School Education Act.
